At the SFD congress in Montpellier, the FFRD winners received their award from the President of the the Scientific Council of the FFRD, André SCHEEN, alongside the President of the Scientific Council of the SFD, Bruno FÈVE.
- Soazig LE LAY, from the Institut du Thorax in Nantes, recipient of the basic research grant, for her project on “Adiponectin-enriched extracellular vesicles: an innovative biotherapeutic approach for diabetes treatment“.
- Jacques BELTRAND, from the Necker Institute Necker in Paris, recipient of the clinical research grant, for his project on “l’study of the effects of stric glycemic control on the cognitive functions of children with type 1 diabetes”.
